Participants of the Second Eurasian Women's Forum, which will be held on 19–21 September 2018 in St. Petersburg, may look forward to an interesting cultural programme alongside their packed business schedule. Guests and city residents will be able to visit the key cultural sites of Russia’s northern capital.

On 19 September, guests may enjoy a gala concert by the artists of the Mariinsky Theatre. This will take place on the new stage of the Mariinsky Theatre (Mariinsky II), a key centre of the arts of opera and ballet, renowned both in Russia and throughout the world. The programme will include operatic arias; the second act of the ballet The Four Seasons, with music by Max Richter (based on the music of Antonio Vivaldi) and choreography and production design by Ilya Zhivoi; and the ballet The Dying Swan, with music by Camille Saint-Saëns and choreography by Mikhail Fokine (1907). Performers will include Yulia Matochkina, Sergey Skorokhodov, Hovhannes Ayvazyan, ballet dancers, and the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Sinkevich. The performance starts at 19:00.
On 21 September, the Autumn Festival of Fountains, a multimedia show, will be held in the world’s largest palace and park ensemble, the Peterhof Palace. The fountain show is a significant event in the cultural life of St. Petersburg, which will combine the work of video artists, soloists from St. Petersburg musicals, dancers, and unusual performers. The visual elements of the show will be supported by numerous special effects and fireworks. The event will take place at the Grand Cascade fountain complex in Peterhof (the epicentre of crystal fountains and emerald parks, the absolute quintessence of a festival, and a must-see for all tourists coming to St. Petersburg.) The performance starts at 20:45.
Advance registration is required for participation in the cultural programme events.
