EURASIAN WOMEN’S FORUM WILL UNITE MORE THAN 160 COUNTRIES
The Second Eurasian Women’s Forum which will be held on September 20-21 in St.Petersburg is going to become a large-scaled event and unite women from all over the world. The active preparations for it have already started. The organizers of the Forum create its program and the list of participants.
This year representatives from more than 160 countries will attend this event. By the way, the first forum in 2015 gathered 80 countries. They eagerly supported the idea of making this event regular and holding it once in three years. Since then, the event became more large-scaled and drew the attention of many famous persons. The participants of the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum are women parliamentarians, representatives of the executive, international organizations, commercial communities, business, academia, social structures and charities, the authorities of the international women’s movement, the ambassadors of different countries, and many others. The ladies from countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South and North America are going to come to St. Petersburg to attend this event.
One of the main features of the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum is the variety of international discussion platforms, presentations, sessions and research of international organizations and associations. The Forum’s program already includes such events as a special session of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), an expert platform of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a presentation of the report of the World Health Organization, a presentation of the research of the International Labour Organization, and also a session of the women’s business BRICS club. What’s more, the list of guests includes the representatives of the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the International Association of Women Doctors, the Global Bank, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, the United Nations (UN), the Council of Europe, and many other large international organizations.
It’s necessary to say that all participants of the Forum are interesting people who actively work for their countries’ and the whole world’s sake. They have many things to say and successful practices to share. The journalists of the news agency of the Eurasian Women’s Community will acquaint our
