Joan Kuriansky is a person embodying such qualities as non-indifference and steadfastness. She has never stepped back from what she believes in. Ms. Kuriansky devoted almost all her life to achieving the independence of women. She worked hard as the Executive Director of Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW) to help American women make success and achieve economic stability. Then she joined the Older Women’s League (OWL) organisation and solved sharp social issues of women aged over 40. It is not only essential to respect the environment through certain actions and projects. One has to do it on a regular basis. Thus, it is important for people to love the environment and acquire core knowledge in ecology, natural science, and biology from the very childhood. Russian ‘Young Naturalists’ movement is being developed to that end. Anna Bazhenova, Deputy Director of the Federal Children Environmental Biology Centre, told us more about that.

Today, she is the Director General of Reina-Tour NTV Travel Company and co-owner of two hotels located in Rostov-on-Don.
The number of women among young scientists is increasing. These women are interesting persons dedicated to their occupation. They set themselves global goals and step by step put them into practise. The EWC journalists interviewed Elena Zdorovieva, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Penza State Agrarian University, and Head of the Interfaculty Biochemical Laboratory. She shared about her scientific projects.

She has also been the President of the National Peace Foundation since 2006.
When Polina Kitsenko was a school student, she was exempted from physical education classes. However, that didn’t prevent her from launching the largest charity marathon in Russia. Three years after being launched, the marathon breaks records and collects 100 million rubles. Professional sportspersons, actors, and heads of major companies join them. Marathons are held within the framework of popular platforms and thanks to that attract more participants. At the Synergy Women Forum, Polina Kitsenko shared about the origin of this project and about how it had obtained popularity.
Nina Myshanskaya, Candidate in Political Sciences, specialist in social relations, marketing and sales expert, worked as CEO of one of the largest baby goods companies in Russia. Now she is the Commercial Director at Khrapunovkiy Instrument Works. Thus, Nina still focuses on creating and promoting products-enablers of development for the younger generation.
There are scientific educational schools in the architectural environment where the experienced specialists teach their followers. They share experience with their students, help them choose the right values, and bring up their tastes. Such a school was created on the basis of the International Arts and Communication College. Rashida Gainullina, co-founder of the TZAM Group company and group of companies Partner, architect-urbanist, and member of the Creative Union of the Professional Artists, became the main specialist of the Architectural College.
