The project’s authors have a task to expand the access to unique information about the German-Russian legacy of the two legendary design schools: the Bauhaus and the VKHUTEMAS.

The Bauhaus masters and theorists published many books on teaching methods and art theory. The significance of the legacy of the VKHUTEMAS in Russian and world culture is just beginning to be realized. One of the objectives of the Bauhaus Open Studios - Teaching Models project is to expand the amount of connoisseurs of the iconic school of Soviet and Russian design.
