Preserving Best Moments in History
The Federation Council opened an exhibition of photos from the Second EWF
On March 5, the Federation Council hosted the opening of the exhibition of photos made during the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum. Three photographers including the photographer of the EWC news agency were awarded in a solemn setting. Chairperson of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko personally thanked the them for the work done and their personal involvement.
The photos exhibited present the brightest events of the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum and its participants, so different women from all over the world united by the desire to move forward for the sake of a better future and development of their countries.
“We, women, all equally want global peace. We wish kindness and happiness for our children, families, and all people around. The main thing is that we know that we can do much for that. We are very different and this is what makes us rich. When we are together, we are strong”, commented Ms. Matvienko during the opening of the exhibition.
The Second Eurasian Women’s Forum is a global event. Representatives from 110 countries who are bright, interesting, and successful women became its participants. About 50 different events took place as part of the Forum. In addition, President of Russia Vladimir Putin paid much attention to the event. Moreover, now the implementation of ideas proposed at the Forum continues.
Valentina Matvienko expressed her gratitude to journalists and photographers who had taken part in the information coverage of the forum. This bright event was recorded in history thanks to quality articles, videos, and photographs, which became real pieces of art.
Over the time of the Forum, the team of the Eurasian Women’s Community made upwards of 30 thousand photos. Later a video was prepared, in which women from different countries shared their impressions of the event. This is a beautiful history about the development of the Forum and women’s global agenda joined by more and more women contributing to positive space.
It was pleasant and important for team of the Eurasian Women’s Community news agency to be associated with such a global event.
When formulating the policy of the Eurasian Women’s Community news agency much attention was paid to the quality of visual content. Women must enjoy how they look on the photos and feel their being beautiful. In addition, it is important that their kind deeds, their large-scale activity aimed at improvement of the situation in the world, are recorded in the history and inspire people around and future generations.
It is symbolic that men photographers were awarded on the eve of International Women’s Day.
This once more proves that women’s agenda in the world develops beyond gender boundaries and is supported by representatives of both genders.
