The Second EAWF to Present Best Volunteer Programmes in Russia
The term for innovative projects submission for the Volunteering Marathon was extended until 15 August 2018. This decision was made by the organizing committee of the contest.
Since the beginning of 2018, the Year of Volunteer in Russia, the Volunteering Marathon contest was launched in preparation for the Second Eurasian Women's Forum on the Eurasian Women's Community website.
About 1000 applications from charitable and volunteer organizations chaired by women of Russia were submitted for consideration; the organizers of the contest distinguished a hundred of them.
Russian and international volunteers at EAWF: compassion for the sake of greater good
Five winners of the Volunteering Marathon first stage were awarded finalist's diplomas at the meeting of Valentina Matviyenko, Chair of the RF Federation Council, with female leaders of volunteer projects at the Federation Council in March 2018. This is their ticket to the Second Eurasian Women’s Forum.
The volunteering marathon continues
With an objective to give a chance to more volunteer organizations of the country led by women to present their ideas and experience in charitable and educational programmes, the Organizing Committee of the contest extends the term of the final stage of the marathon. To tell like-minded people about your success, share experiences and get the word out, forward your volunteer projects, initiatives, work and good cause presentations to email@example.com with 'Volunteering Marathon' in the subject line.
The most striking good cause stories will we presented at the Second Eurasian Women's Forum at the 'Female Volunteers: Partnership for Growth' session.
