Women Leaders in the Business Environment

Women Influence Community Forum will take place in Moscow in October

Women Influence Community is a project dealing with such resource as women’s influence in its value framework. Today, there are six key fields where women fulfil their potential, become leaders, and contribute to developing peace. They are business, professional activity, civic activity, maternity, creativity, and the path of inspirer or muse. Women Influence Community Forum traditionally takes place every spring. The event is dedicated to all six fields of women’s influence. The meeting of the community’s participants will take place in Moscow this autumn, on October 7-8. Realisation of women’s potential and development of women’s leadership in the professional field will become the main topic of the event.

Yanina Dubeykovskaya - founder of the Women Influence Community, expert in corporate, social, and political communication, Ph.D.

A number of educated, self-sufficient, and materially independent women represent today’s business environment. They consciously make their own strategies of life and become role models and sources of inspiration for people around. Yanina Dubeykovskaya, founder of the Women Influence Community, emphasizes that today it is important to not only pay attention to women’s role in professional field but also discuss women's authenticity and opportunities to fulfil their potential. This will be in focus of the forum in Moscow in October.

For the first time, Women Influence Community Forum in Moscow will last two days.

The first day of the event will be dedicated to industries that are commonly referred to as soft ones. Historically these fields have more female employees. They significantly influence decision-making, create favourable conditions for professional activity, and occupy leadership positions. Such soft fields include beauty industry, healthcare, education, fashion, and retailing.

The second day of the forum with focus on the so-called hard industries, including oil and gas, transport, energy, housebuilding, and finance. They employ few women, however, this fact makes hard industries even more interesting for discussion at the forum since they provide a number of unused opportunities for fulfilment of women’s potential.

Despite the fact that professional fulfilment is the key topic of the forum, the attention will be paid to all six directions of women’s influence. Every woman combines several roles in her life that are closely interrelated.

Participants of the forum will discuss personal branding, soft qualities of specialists, the role of women leaders, employees, and clients in the business environment, the way they influence the formation of corporate culture, and its importance. Women have natural ability to create comfort and harmony around themselves. They make it not only at home but also at work thus forming comfortable and inspiring conditions for their colleagues, employees, and clients. In the professional field, their primary goal is not the ability to earn but spiritual, non-material values.

It is also planned to invite representatives of media to the forum in order to discuss the image of a businesswoman, which is being formed in mass media today.

A number of distinguished women professionals from Russia and other countries will take part in the event.

The speakers of the Women Influence Community Forum include Fatima Sator, Communication Specialist at United Nations OCHA, Joynicole Martinez, Chief Executive Officer of the Alchemist Agency, entrepreneur, and public figure, Anna Belova, board member of Russian and international companies, Yekaterina Koznichenko, partner of A.T. Kearney in Russia, and others.

“Our community unites powerful and purposeful women who fully realise their potential, feel self-sufficient, and use opportunities given to them by the world. They have soft impact on people around them in different fields of activity. It is the very kind of women, in whom we see real leaders”, said Yanina Dubeykovskaya. She expressed her hope that the community would keep growing large and strong. By exchanging their experience and ideas, its participants inspire one another and people around. Together they will change the world for the better.
